Cornish Coldwater Classic Returns for 2025 - PR

The British Wavesailing Association (BWA) is thrilled to announce the return of the Cornish Coldwater Classic at Gwithian Beach, Hayle, Cornwall, from 14th–16th February 2025, with roll-over dates scheduled for 21st–23rd February 2025.

As Round 2 of the BWA Pro Windsurfing Series, this event promises world-class wavesailing action against Cornwall’s breathtaking coastal backdrop. Competitors from across the UK and beyond will test their skills in the challenging cold-water conditions Gwithian is renowned for.

What to Expect

  • Roll-Over Format: To ensure optimal windsurfing conditions, the event will roll to backup dates if the primary weekend lacks wind.

  • All Fleets Welcome: A celebration of wavesailing talent across all levels and age groups.

  • Youth Camp: From 17th–20th February, aspiring young windsurfers can refine their skills with expert coaching in a dedicated training programme.
