Cornish Coldwater Classic 2025: The Wave Tour Returns to Cornwall
We’re thrilled to announce the Cornish Coldwater Classic, happening at Gwithian Beach, Hayle, Cornwall, from 14th–16th February 2025, with roll-over dates on 21st–23rd February 2025. This event marks Round 2 of the BWA Pro Windsurfing Series, bringing some of the best wavesailing talent to one of the UK’s most iconic coastal locations.
Why Gwithian Beach?
Cornwall is widely recognised as the UK’s centre for watersports, and Gwithian Beach is the ideal venue for this prestigious event. The beach offers consistent conditions for wavesailing and a backdrop that’s nothing short of spectacular.
“It’s great to bring the wave tour back to Cornwall,” says event host Alex Roads. “Gwithian Beach is perfect for this event, and I’m excited to see everyone come together for some brilliant wavesailing.”

According to the Chairman of the BWA, “Cornwall is England’s centre for watersports, and Gwithian Beach is one of the best spots for wave sailing.
